This Privacy Policy describes how Anserine Labs, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with Slashwork (the "Service").
Our Role
We act as a data processor on behalf of the organizations ("Customers") that use our Service. Our Customers are the data controllers and own all data submitted to the Service through their accounts.
Information We Process
When Customers use our Service, we process information on their behalf, which may include:
- Account information (names, email addresses)
- Messages and communications
- Files and content shared through the Service
- Usage data and logs (excluding data obtained from Google APIs)
How We Use Information
We process information to:
- Provide and operate the Service
- Improve the Service through logs and analytics. Google user data is not used for these purposes.
- Maintain security and prevent abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
The above uses do not apply to Google user data, which is handled exclusively as described in the “Google User Data” section below.
We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
Data Control and Access
Each Customer is responsible for:
- Determining who can access their organization's account
- Managing user permissions within their organization
- Responding to data access or deletion requests from their users
Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Google User Data
Slashwork offers optional integrations with Google services. Google user data is only accessed when authorized by a user or organization administrator and is used solely to provide the requested integration functionality within the Slashwork Service.
Google Sign-In
When users authenticate with Google Sign-In, we may access:
- Name
- Email address
- Basic profile information
This information is used only to:
- Authenticate users
- Associate a Google account with a Slashwork account
- Display user identity information within the Service
Google Workspace Directory Integration
When enabled by a customer, Slashwork may access limited Google Workspace directory information, such as:
- User names
- Email addresses
This information is used only to:
- Allow organization members to identify and invite coworkers within the same Slashwork workspace
- Associate Workspace users with existing Slashwork accounts
Google Meet Integration
When users create Google Meet sessions through Slashwork, we may access Google Meet and related account information necessary to:
- Create Google Meet meeting links requested by users
- Associate meeting participants with existing Slashwork workspace users
- Display meeting-related functionality within the Service
Restricted Uses
Google user data is not used for:
- Advertising or marketing
- User profiling
- Analytics unrelated to providing the Service
- Selling or transferring data to data brokers
- Training generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models
Google user data is not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide or secure the Service or comply with applicable law.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Customers of material changes by posting the updated policy with a new "Last Updated" date.
