Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Anserine Labs, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with Slashwork (the "Service").

Our Role

We act as a data processor on behalf of the organizations ("Customers") that use our Service. Our Customers are the data controllers and own all data submitted to the Service through their accounts.

Information We Process

When Customers use our Service, we process information on their behalf, which may include:

  • Account information (names, email addresses)
  • Messages and communications
  • Files and content shared through the Service
  • Usage data and logs (excluding data obtained from Google APIs)

How We Use Information

We process information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service
  • Improve the Service through logs and analytics. Google user data is not used for these purposes.
  • Maintain security and prevent abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

The above uses do not apply to Google user data, which is handled exclusively as described in the “Google User Data” section below.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

Data Control and Access

Each Customer is responsible for:

  • Determining who can access their organization's account
  • Managing user permissions within their organization
  • Responding to data access or deletion requests from their users

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Google User Data

When you connect your Google Workspace account to Slashwork, we request access to the following Google user data via OAuth:

  • Email address — used to identify and provision your account within your organization's Slashwork instance.
  • Profile picture — used to populate your user profile within the Service.

This data is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Authenticating users via Google Sign-In
  • Linking a Google account to a Slashwork user account
  • Importing basic directory information (such as names and email addresses) from your Google Workspace organization to help users discover and connect with teammates within Slashwork
  • Identifying users within Google Meet sessions in order to match them to Slashwork users

We do not use Google user data for:

  • Advertising or marketing
  • Analytics or tracking
  • Profiling or personalization
  • Training or improving machine learning or AI models

We do not sell, share, or transfer Google user data to third parties.

Google user data is only processed internally and is not disclosed externally except:

  • As required to comply with applicable law, or
  • As necessary to maintain the security and integrity of the Service

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Customers of material changes by posting the updated policy with a new "Last Updated" date.
